No Dragon No Lion redefining the martial arts and performing arts on stage by integrating Cantonese opera with kung fu, acrobatics, parkour, tricking, capoeira and dance. Furthermore, it transforms the Lion Dance to a new form of performance by replacing the traditional drum music with live beatboxing. Also, by fusing different comedic effects, No Dragon No Lion is an energetic and entertaining contemporary dance and circus show yet with rich cultural overtones.

No Dragon No Lion is a “Kung-Fu Contemporary Lion Dance & Circus”, while it is not a specific genre of performing arts. It is rather open and a framework of creation by putting different elements in with suitable cultural context to generate different performances.
Furthermore; it acts as a form of training to allow performers and creators with different background to equipment themselves with the above method and make it as a tool for their own creation and development.
